Nick Berners-Price has over 30 years’ experience in the fitness industry. He is a Chartered Fellow of CIMSPA, Specialist Personal Trainer, Parkinson’s Exercise Specialist, founder of The National Register of Parkinson’s Specialist Personal Trainers and panellist at CIMSPA conference and Elevate.
He created 4D Fitness in 1998, and since then he and his team have been delivering leading edge health and fitness solutions across the full spectrum of the population. He has pursued a passion for researching and understanding the human body and its response to training and nutrition since he was 14 years old. Now in his early 50’s he has accumulated a unique set of skills and techniques in health, fitness and rehabilitation training. As a Health and Fitness Coach he works with some of the UK’s most influential people in Government, business and the Civil Service. He has also trained hundreds of amateur marathon runners as a charity marathon team coach.
Nick also has Multiple Sclerosis, his first symptoms appearing in 2006. As a Remedial Personal Trainer he works, in conjunction with multidisciplinary teams ,with people with Neurological and Musculoskeletal injury or disease, Parkinson’s, MS, Stroke, Diabetes and Cancer. He is passionate about expanding his knowledge, improving the 4D Health and Performance Systems, and through the 4D Personal Training team, using it to help people of all ages, abilities and circumstances to feel good, stay healthy and perform to their best. He is a Parkinson’s Specialist Personal Trainer in South West London registered with the NRPSPT.

Nick created the 4D Performance™ and 4D Health™ Personal Training systems as a vehicle to deliver leading edge training techniques across the personal training spectrum. They provide 4D Personal Trainers with a framework to develop their knowledge and deliver exceptional, comprehensive health, fitness and performance to clients. They utilise a Marginal Gains approach to both performance and managing health conditions. He uses them himself to manage his MS.
Nick has constantly applied his techniques and research through new and testing experiences including cycling from Lands End to John a Groats, climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, running the London and New York marathons, white water rafting the Zambeze and Colorado Rivers. He also has an Honours Degree in Economics and Politics.
